Outlaws, EST. 2008
Our history is very brief being that 2008 is our first year of playing together. Many of us have either played together
in high school or softball several years after graduating. The team was initiated by Mike Villarreal, the team's coach. He
along with Jim Galvan hand picked the core of the Outlaw line-up. A few other players joined this team by word of mouth, but
it was Mike and Jim who worked diligently in the off-season to not only find good ballplayers but guys who would commit 2
hours every sunday between the chalk lines.
The Outlaws consist of several high school standouts and even one who not only excelled in college but played in the
College World Series in the 1980's. However, the Outlaws believe the strongest asset we have are our fans. The strong support
of wives, girlfriends, parents, children and sometimes even friends who come out just for the free beer are noticed not only
by the players but by opposing teams also.
We pride ourselves on playing the right way: Hustle & fundamentals with little to no crying.
